Travellers (Workshop Live Experimentation) with Soumik Datta and workshop participants

As the culmination of a one-day workshop designed to explore music as a tool for storytelling and social impact, this work-in-progress performance features original pieces created by the 15 shortlisted participants of the workshop.

Guided by curated mentorship from award-winning sarod player, Soumik Datta, and collaborative creation, these emerging musicians have spent the day engaging with music beyond performance — as expression, intervention, and collective dialogue.

What emerges is a powerful glimpse into their evolving artistic voices, presented as a live, open-ended showcase. This performance reflects the spirit of experimentation and impact-driven artistry — a first step in longer journeys of creative inquiry and musical expression.
