Run Better Meetings & Workshops: An Introductory Course in Facilitation
Tired of meetings that go nowhere? Want to lead workshops that actually deliver results?
Join our face-to-face, two-part course designed to help you build the skills and confidence to run engaging, productive sessions—whether you’re chairing team meetings or leading collaborative workshops.
Across two half-day sessions, you’ll learn:
- The mindset and role of an effective facilitator
- How to design sessions with clear purpose and flow
- Practical tools to spark participation and manage group dynamics
- Techniques to handle challenges and drive outcomes
Led by experienced facilitators in a supportive, hands-on environment, this course blends essential theory with live practice and reflection. You’ll walk away with a facilitation toolkit you can use straight away—and a clearer sense of your own facilitation style.
Whether you’re a team lead, project manager, or aspiring facilitator, this is your starting point for running meetings people actually want to attend.
This course is based on the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) process developed by Alex Osborn and Sid Parnes. The CPS process is open source and in the public domain. This training is delivered by The LAB School, whose facilitators are part of the core faculty of trainers at the Creative Education Foundation (CEF), and aligns with CEF’s facilitation standards.
(Dates: July 31 & Aug 1, 2025, Thursday & Friday | 2 half-day sessions : 10:00 am – 1:00 pm| Attendance on both days is mandatory for certification.)
