Award-winning sarod player and composer Soumik Datta leads a vibrant expedition through sound, revealing how music transcends geographical and temporal boundaries to erase the borders that separate us.
Experience the evocative voice of Soumik’s sarod as it navigates diverse sonic landscapes, weaving a tapestry of shared human experiences that echo across continents and the turning of the clock.
Alongside Soumik, a dynamic ensemble of fellow Travellers – rising stars from the UK and India on violin, mridangam, tabla, bass, vocals, and percussion – unlock the unifying power of music. Their live improvisations and virtuosic collaboration reveal how ancient Indian melodies and contemporary compositions can dissolve the walls between nations and cultures.

In Residence, a production series, creates space for practitioners to explore their craft, form, and expression to consistently and rigorously refine their practice. Each production is hosted over an extended duration at the warehouse, enabling work that is multidisciplinary and grounded in traditional and contemporary performance methods.
