Human Be by Uday Benegal

Uday Benegal presents the launch of his debut solo EP Human Be. Best known as the frontman of iconic rock band Indus Creed, Benegal has been a key figure in India’s independent music scene since the 1980s. With this release, he steps away from his stadium rock sound to explore a more stripped-down, introspective approach.

Human Be is a five-track EP that reflects a quieter, more personal side of his songwriting, touching on themes of love, compassion and self-awareness. Produced by Aria Nanji, the record features collaborations with independent musicians and includes an acoustic version of Indus Creed’s “Fireflies.” This performance marks the first live outing of the EP and offers a closer look at a new direction in Benegal’s musical journey.
