Growing by Simran Moorjani
Growing: An Urban Gardening Workshop
as part of G5A’s 10-Year Celebrations
Join Simran Moorjani, whose journey from a terrace gardener in Bombay to a small-scale farmer reflects a deep connection to soil, plants, and the rhythms of growth.
At her ½-acre farm, Simbiosis, she grows over 15 varieties of tomatoes, nurturing plants holistically while exploring how urban farming can sustain us and bring us closer to what’s on our plate!
This session is about hands-on learning and connection with the ground beneath us. You’ll explore the fundamentals of urban gardening, discover how to care for plants in small spaces, and gain insight into soil, and plant health—all in a relaxed, collaborative environment.
Bring curiosity, your hands, and a love for plants. The workshop is an invitation to experience the grounding magic of growing things, and leave a little closer to the earth—and to what nourishes us.
Saturday, 01 November — for one session only.
