Creativity has gone from art to entertainment to content to now brain rot very quickly. The last century saw the birth of truly independent artists. But the same market forces and technology that enabled it have now commoditized art beyond recognition. Even the few islands of creative defiance that will remain will need immense effort and a sense of purpose.
